French fisherman and President and chairman of the ports of Calais, Jean-Marc Puissesseau, warned of further disruption due to fishing rows between France and the UK. While speaking on the BBC, he insisted that total chaos would ensue unless an agreement could be reached between France and the UK on a post-Brexit fishing relationship. Mr Puissesseau argued that an agreement needed to be reached between President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson this weekend to prevent any further issues. 

This comes after President Macron spoke to the Financial Times and questioned the UK’s credibility as a trusted international partner.
