All of Denver's 5 Star Certified restaurants and bars

As of March 3, Denver has approved 5 Star certified businesses to operate at Level Blue capacities and restrictions on the state’s COVID-19 dial.

What does that mean? Businesses that have been inspected by the city for advanced health and safety protocols can operate at higher capacities indoors and at later last call times.

From Level Yellow (where uncertified businesses stay) to Blue, diners at Denver restaurants shouldn’t notice much of a difference. Dining rooms still should space tables 6 feet apart and fill only to 50% occupancy.

But bigger restaurants under Level Blue can fit up to 175 people (it was capped at 50 previously), and the largest spaces will be able to fit up to 225 (previously 175).

The biggest change you’ll notice across the board? Last call is as late as midnight at Level Blue (11 p.m. previously under Yellow). But remember to check with each restaurant for hours and protocols.

Here is a running list of the 5 Star certified restaurants and bars in Denver. We’ll update it periodically.

But of course, just because you can drink later at some establishments doesn’t mean you should relax your own safety precautions when going out, according to health officials and restaurant workers.
