An audio clip at the end of the most recent episode of Labyrinths Ms Knox took a pregnant test before revealing it had come back positive. Upon seeing the result she shouted: “Thank goodness, we did it!”

Ms Knox gained international infamouy when she was convicted of the 2007 murder of former room mate Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy.

In 2015 the Italian supreme court acquitted her and former lover Raffaele Sollecito.

Speaking on the podcast, Ms Knox said: “That’s right, we’re pregnant, and we’ve been recording audio of our own experience since day one.

“Stay tuned for our next mini-series, 280 days, where we take you on an intimate journey from conception to birth.”

It comes just one month after the 34-year-old American revealed that she suffered a devastating miscarriage whit husband Christopher Robinson.

She later tweeted that she would “bare my soul” about the horrific experince in the series.

She said: “We sat with the miscarriage for a while trying and failing to be ok. It didn’t have a heartbeat.”

Ms Knox, who married Mr Robinson in 2018, added: “We thought it was a straight line from unprotected sex to baby.

“It was abdominal pain like I have not experience before. I was shaking.”
