At least 24 people have died in a shooting at a church.
Gunmen opened fire at a church in Burkina Faso on Sunday during mass, killing dozens including the pastor.
A further 18 people were wounded in the attack on a Protestant church in the village of Pansi in Yagha province.
State governor Colonel Salfo Kabore said a group of "armed terrorists" raided the village "and attacked the peaceful local population after having identified them and separated them from non-residents".
The motive for the massacre hasn't yet been given, but Christians and churches in the north of Burkina Faso have become frequent targets for terror attacks by armed Islamists.
