Denver weather: Cloudy and cool Sunday, but no more snow

Denver area residents woke up to a couple inches of snow Sunday, but no additional snowfall is expected throughout the day despite cloudy skies and cool temperatures.

Front Range roads could be slick Sunday morning, the National Weather Service at Boulder warned, and early morning fog could make for limited visibility in spots. Most fog should clear by mid-morning, according to the weather service.

Sunday’s weather will be mostly cloudy with a high temperature of about 37 degrees, but clearer skies will move in as the day goes on, according to the weather service. Overnight, the low temperature will dip to about 19 degrees, according to the weather service.

The beginning of the week will be sunny and the region will see a midweek warm-up, with high temperatures Wednesday around 59 degrees, according to the weather service.

Denver will continue to see highs in the 50s throughout the week.
