Mesut Ozil 's wife has shared a snap of the pair at his new club in a touching post about his future in Turkey.
Miss Turkey World 2014, Amine Gülşe Özil, posted a photo on Instagram of her and the former Arsenal star with beaming smiles at his new club, Fenerbahce on Wednesday.
Proudly standing beside the Istanbul club's yellow and blue flag and in front of stadium wall art, Amine opens the door to her husband's new chapter in Turkey.
She captioned the photo in Turkish which Google translates to: "Good luck, God will embrace."
The actress and model from Sweden tied the knot with German international Mesut on June 7, 2019, having met two years earlier.
Arsenal allow Mesut Ozil to join Fenerbahce but keep clever clause in contract
In March last year Amine announced to the world the birth of their daughter Eda, she said: "Thank God that our daughter Eda was born in a healthy way. I hope that my Lord will be a good son for us, her environment and all humanity, AMİN Amine & Mesut Ozil."
Before meeting the former Real Madrid playmaker, Amine left her native Gothenburg for mum's homeland of Turkey where she kick started a career on screen.
After being crowned Miss Turkey World in 2014, Amine made her Turkish television debut, starring in the series Asla Vazgeçmem.
Amine could not resist teasing Fenerbahce fans earlier this month by adding fuel to the fire of her husband's much speculated switch to Turkey.
Posting a pic of the couple stepping off a private jet to her three million Instagram followers, Amine wrote "We are coming" accompanied by yellow and blue hearts.
Mesut's transfer from Arsenal to Fenerbahce was officially announced by both clubs on January 24, ending the player's misery at the North London club.
Arsenal said on social media: "Thank you, Mesut The best of Ozil. 254 appearances, 44 goals and 71 assists. We're wishing you all the best at @fenerbahce, @m10_official."
