A young man who was stabbed to death during a s@craitreet fight has been named as Ahsan Khan.
Mr Khan, 19, from Oldham, was knifed during a violent fight involving a group of men in the early hours of this morning.
He was taken to hospital to be treated with serious injuries, but died later during the day, report Manchester Evening News.
A murder investigation has been launched into the incident while three men – two aged 21 and one 20-year-old – were arrested and detained on suspicion of murder.
Mr Khan’s close pal Rahim paid tribute to his friend and said: “I remember when he was born. I used to always see him playing as a kid, running past the house. I saw him grow up.

“He always had a smile on his face. He would never show everyone respect, regardless of who they were or their religion. He was a good lad.”
A witness said he saw several police cars and ambulances arrive at the scene on Cheviot Avenue around 4.30am, and said he saw the victim laying in the road as medics worked to resuscitate him.
A woman who lives on the street said: “I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s so scary to wake up and see this on your doorstep.”
Detectives from Greater Manchester Police are appealing to anyone with information around Mr Khan’s death to come forward.

Detective Superintendent Debbie Dooley of GMP’s Oldham division said: “My thoughts are with the young man who has had his life brutally taken away from him and our specialist officers are working closely with the family to assist them the best we can at this devastating time.
“This is a fast-moving investigation and we have made three early arrests.
