Generation Z have turned into Gen Neat Freaks as 18-24-year-olds adapt to the nation being plunged into tiers of prolonged lockdown.
Cleaning superstar Mrs Hinch, lifestyle guru Marie Kondo and Netflix home organisers The Home Edit have soared in popularity recently.
And a study has revealed that Gen Zers have turned their noses up at being clutter collectors and have instead embraced a minimalist and organised home.
The poll, commissioned by online lettings agent Mashroom, found an incredible 49% want their current homes improved – more than any other age group.
And 61% will change their home decor in the next 12 months.
Gen Z are also the largest age group to request home improvements in their rentals, as nearly half of those polled have asked their landlords to let them make home improvements.
More than a third have opted for a modern, tidy look over any other style while 30% want to have a study at home.

The study also found that with a further six months of strict restrictions over the winter leaving many feeling daunted, new at-home hobbies are also on the increase.
Alongside "property porn favourites", such as Location, Location, Location, Selling Sunset or Escape to the Chateau, Gen Z are glued to cooking shows like Great British Bake Off.

In fact, a quarter of those polled tune into the Channel 4 baking programme more than any other show.
And Bake Off has been so inspirational to them, nearly 50% have taken up cooking this year – more than any other age group.
As well as wanting neat and organised homes, they are yearning for The Good Life with 38% wanting a bigger garden and 21% lusting after a vegetable patch.
Gen Zers are also planning to keep themselves busy with reading, watching TV and unlike other age groups, 19% of them plan to learn a new language.
But the study of 2,000 adults, including 260 from Gen Z, found the younger generation seems to be the only age group looking forward to weekends of zoom quizzes with 37% saying they will do them again.

"It’s fascinating to see Generation Z have rejected the hoarding issues of previous generations but instead embraced an organised, modern home.
“Both tenants and landlords are feeling the strain, uncertainty of what's to come is quickly changing many tenants' views on moving and are undermining future plans, whilst many landlords are struggling to come to terms with the rapidly changing market.
"We here at Mashroom have increasingly seen how both sides have been working together to create a mutually beneficial environment.”
