A friend of missing mum-of-two Nicola Bulley has slammed the "attention seeking" psychic and armchair detectives attempting to solve the missing person case.
The 45-year-old mortgage advisor was last seen on Friday, January 27, as an investigation into her whereabouts continues, with the mum last spotted along the River Wyre in St Michael's-on-the-Wyre, Lancashire.
A series of self-proclaimed psychics and armchair detectives have caused controversy though as they begin attempting to predict where the mum may be.

Disgusting claims and guesses were made by those wannabe detectives online, with some suggesting Nicola was wearing wellies or was clinging to branches in the river, The Mirror reported.
A friend of Nicola's family has since said those psychics and armchair detectives are both "cruel and unhelpful".
The friend, who did not want to be named, said: "I feel she could have got the information about the wellies from the media. It has been well documented what she was wearing. I think this is very distressing for friends and family to read.
"Has she taken her information to the police? Is she willing to travel to the area and show the police where these marks are because they have not found anything?
"Other psychics have said she is in the water clinging on to branches. Why are they all seeing differently? They are not all right."

Those "attention seeking" individuals were also criticised by Superintendent Sally Riley, who said that the speculation was "really distressing for the family and for Nicola's children".
The unnamed friend added: "I’d say please remember that this is someone’s partner, mummy, daughter, sister and friend.
"They could do something more useful and proactive with their time… help search, share posters, etc but allegations are cruel and unhelpful."
It comes as police say they were able to confirm that Nicola had not left the riverside, with a statement noting that the 45-year-old had "remained at the riverside area" at the time of her disappearance.
