Police and FBI search home in Aurora in case of Lashaya Stine who went missing 4 years ago

Aurora police investigators and the FBI are searching a home Tuesday morning in connection to the disappearance of a then teenage girl who has been missing for four years.

Lashaya Nae Stine was last seen at 2:30 a.m. on July 15, 2016, in the area of East Montview Boulevard and Peoria Street in Aurora, according to police. At the time of her disappearance, the Aurora Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit was involved in the search.

On Tuesday, police and the FBI searched a home in the 2200 block of Lansing Street, west of Peoria Street and north of East Montview Boulevard in north Aurora.

In August of 2019, Aurora police and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, released an age-progressed photo of the missing girl.

Anyone with information on the case, or on Stine’s whereabouts, is asked to contact @CrimeStoppersCO. There’s a $15,000 reward posted in the case.
