Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been named among the TIME 100 Most Influential People.
The couple appeared on the list among stars such as footballer Marcus Rashford, singer Dua Lipa and TikTok's Charlie D'Amelio.
Describing the couple, the list said: "In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the Duke and Duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know.
"They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle.”
The Sussexes—who were photographed by Pari Dukovic at their home – are one of @TIME’s cover stars for the list, alongside a short profile written by José Andrés.
The news comes following months of scandal for the couple as they have opened up more in interviews about their mental health and life in the royal family.
In March, the pair were interviewed by US TV host Oprah Winfrey, in which they made accusations that a member of the establishment was 'concerned' about their son Archie's skin tone.
Harry spoke about his brother, Prince WIlliam being 'trapped' in his Apple TV documentary titled The Me You Don't See – where he also made jabs at his father's parenting.
The couple were also heavily criticised during times of grief over the loss of Prince Philip and even in times of joy on the announcement of the birth of Lilibet Diana in June.
But despite everything, the pair have continued to strive for change in the awareness of mental health and have made huge accomplishments over the last year.
They have landed deals with Netflix, Spotify and book deals worth millions.
Meghan Markle launched her book The Bench, which featured illustrations of Harry with their son Archie, which became a New York Times bestseller.
