Star Wars fan ‘spots face of Jabba the Hutt’ in her M&S chocolate truffle

A Star Wars fan was stunned to find her chocolate truffle embodied the face of Jabba the Hutt.

After buying and indulging in a box of Belgian cocoa-dusted chocolate truffles she had purchased from Marks & Spencer, Emma Snaith soon made an impressive discovery.

The 39-year-old claimed the unforgettable face of Star Wars antagonist Jabba the Hutt appeared on one of her truffles with Jabba's infallible facial features including his triangular-shaped head, wrinkly features and droopy mouth easy to recognise.

The mum-of-two said she got a "good laugh" after realising the similarity before taking a photo of her new-found discovery and scoffing it down.

Emma said: "I was sitting watching TV in bed one evening eating the chocolates and I just noticed that one had a bit of a face to it.

"I thought it looked like Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars.

"It was the shape of the chocolate as he has a triangular shape around his face and wrinkly features near his slopey mouth.

"I just thought it was rather funny to be honest, I wouldn't say that we're big star wars fans but we have seen all the films.

"We took a picture of the truffle, had a good laugh and I ate it.

"You see it a lot – that somebody's found the 'face of a Queen in a crisp' and you just think 'yeah, ok' but then when you actually see one for yourself it's quite surprising."

Finding famous faces in food isn't as rare as you'd think as one British mum had a similar experience, as she spotted the face of former United States President Donald Trump in a grilled cheese snack.

Nikki Finlay called the discovery "quite spooky".
