‘Swinging’ Mormon ‘put boyfriend in a chokehold and struck him multiple times’

A "swinging" Mormon influencer is said to have put her boyfriend in a chokehold and struck him multiple times, police have claimed

Taylor Frankie Paul, 28, was charged with felony counts of domestic violence and aggravated assault over an alleged fight on February 17 in Utah, United States.

Footage acquired by law enforcement allegedly shows influencer Paul striking her boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, 30, "multiple times" and launching three barstools toward him.

Court documents have since shown the 28-year-old, previously exposed for her "soft swinging" with her ex-husband, admitted to "throwing the metal chairs" as well as a wooden playset at her 30-year-old boyfriend.

Mortensen is said to have reported Paul after the latter threw her mobile phone and a wooden playset at him, as well as three "heavy, metal chairs".

One of the three thrown chairs is alleged to have hit one of Paul's two young children in the head, Mortensen claimed in recently reported court documents.

That same video showed Paul putting her boyfriend in a chokehold and striking him "multiple times", police claim.

Those court documents, reported by New York Post, also claimed that the 30-year-old had been held in a chokehold and left with scratches and swelling.

Said document reads: "Dakota reported feeling scared for his life. Dakota was observed with redness and swelling around his eyes, swelling on his elbow, scratches on his fingers, and a laceration on his neck."

One police witness has also claimed to have seen Paul "strike" Mortensen when they arrived at the scene.

The 28-year-old influencer has since been charged with two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child and a count of aggravated assault, as well as a count of child abuse and one count of criminal mischief.

Paul, who has not yet addressed the charges publicly, is set to appear in court over the slate of charges on March 21.

Daily Star previously reported the 28-year-old had participated in "soft-swinging" activities with her ex-husband, with a series of TikTok clips from Paul claiming her life was "falling apart".
