A man who fatally stabbed his wife and daughter after suspecting his partner of having an affair has been jailed for life.

Marcin Zdun attacked 40-year-old Aneta and 18-year-old Nikoleta at their family home in Salisbury, Wiltshire, on June 1, while shouting the Polish word for "whore".

The 40-year-old believed both his wife and his daughter were having an affair at a Tesco where he worked, Winchester Crown Court earlier heard.

Zdun, originally from Poland, was kicked out of the home in April and felt like was control of the family, judge Mr Justice Chamberlain said.

He had become increasingly angry and violent towards his wife, a care worker, because she was not cleaning the house or making meals for the family as he demanded her to.
