Urgent police search for missing girls, 13 and 14, who ‘disappeared together’

An urgent search for two missing teenagers is underway after the pair disappeared near Maidstone, Kent.

Sophie Cromarty, 13, and Rachel Covington, 14, were last seen on December 19 at around 9pm.

The two girls are believed to be together, but Sophie was last seen in the Sutton Vallance area and Rachel in the Parkwood area of region.

Rachel was seen wearing all black clothing, a black beanie hat and carrying a rucksack and Sophie, a white jacket, black boots and a grey rucksack.

Sophie also has short brown hair, whereas Rachel has short black hair and is described as being of "slim build"and around 5ft 7, reports Kent Live.
