Woman screamed ‘please don’t rape me’ before naked body discovered in car park

A 23-year-old woman was reportedly heard screaming "please don't rape me" on CCTV before she was killed.

Kaitlyn Barron's body was found naked next to a building in Salt Lake City.

Police received calls reporting a deceased woman was lying on the ground naked.

Just before 4.30am on September 28, surveillance footage across the street captured audio and video of a man with a skateboard and woman walking toward the area where Barron's body was found.

The pair walked out of view and a woman could be heard screaming either "please don't hurt me" or "please don't' rape me".

The camera also picked up loud sounds of impact, with investigators believing it to be the victim being struck over the head by a large stone.

The rock was found at the scene covered in blood, reports Fox13.

He is the only person seen entering or leaving the area where Barron's body was discovered.

Salt Lake City Police detectives used local business cameras to track the suspect to the Mens Homeless Resource Centre.
